#6 Oklahoma vs #21 Texas
John- The Red River Rivalry! OU vs UT! Boomer Sooner vs Bevo! I think the Longhorns in a close one. 30-28.
Ralph- Another college gameday matchup at 12…this is my petition to stop it. Texas will show up on Saturday to defeat Oklahoma. The Sooner defense has not lived up to their hype. Texas and Bijon Robinson will roll in this game. Texas 28 - OU 17.
Bryce- The Sooners have skated by with close wins through the first-half of the season, as Texas looks for the upset win. Not so fast, Oklahoma plays a full sixty minutes as the Sooners establish themselves in the playoff conversation. Oklahoma 31, Texas 23.
#13 Arkansas vs #17 Ole Miss
John- The Razorbacks bounce back but not far enough. Rebels by 5, 38-33!
Ralph- Both teams took a shot to the chin last week and will need to answer back. Ole Miss wants to get their high powered offense opened up and try to score a lot of points. Arkansas has to get back to the basics of running in between the tackles. Ole Miss 42 - Ark 28.
Bryce- Both teams took a good old-fashioned butt-whooping last week, so who can bounce back? Ole Miss is just too much offensively, Lane Kiffin won’t look like a fool two weeks in a row. Ole Miss 30, Arkansas 21.
#2 Georgia vs #18 Auburn
John- Oldest rivalry in the South. Nix runs around and creates plays for a while, but The Dawgs eventually catch up to him and Georgia’s D shows their dominance. Bulldogs winners 31-15!
Ralph- As much as I want to see Auburn make this a close game I just can’t see it happening. Georgia has the best defense in the country and has a super running back room. Auburn needs to answer early and make big plays to overcome this stellar defense. UGA 35 - Auburn 13.
Bryce- Last week was huge for Bo Nix and this Auburn team. The atmosphere will be rocking, but you the talent gap is too wide. Nix won’t be able to scramble as much, as the Dawgs defense shuts down yet another opponent. Georgia 34, Auburn 10.
#4 Penn State vs #3 Iowa
John- Are these guys really #3 and #4 in the country? This will be a slow methodical game. Nittany Lions take it 23-17!
Ralph- The winner will definitely be the favorite for the Big Ten. Iowa and Penn State both have big wins and great defense. This will be a slugfest and a battle of field goals. Iowa 17 - PSU 14.
Bryce- A matchup with major Big Ten and national implications, Iowa’s defense is the real deal. The Hawkeyes create multiple turnovers on the way to a low-scoring affair. Iowa 24, Penn State 13.
